Hello from Western Canada!
on: January 03, 2013, 06:52:51 AM
I've been lurking around the Swiss Forum for awhile now.

I got my first Swiss Army Knife when I was eight, and have carried one ever since, especially while growing up in a forest valley in the northern Rockies.

I currently carry a Wenger Evo 18 Scouts Canada Edition, and keep a Victorinox Forester and Leatherman Wave in my Nearby Bag. I'm not heavily into modding, but I will tinker a little if I think I can squeeze a little extra functionality out of a tool.

So hi!

Welcome aboard.  Be warned though, if you show even the slightest hint of MT or SAK addiction this lot will sniff it out in a flash and start being sneaky enablers .......   :climber:

I already have my pick of about two dozen of the things, so thanks for the heads up. I'm weak.

It's an old economy recruit I got in 1990, with my initials carved in the main blade and a small piece of the point broken off on the pen blade. It's currently in storage in one of my boxes of books. These days I've got several less sentimental SAKs to choose from.

Fun story: it went missing sometime in the Fifth Grade, until my Dad found it near the river with a bunch of tooth marks in the scales.

That is very cool mate  :tu: :tu:

My first SAK a alox(Pioneer) spent quite a few years in a sock draw , I think I had broken the blade tip & just put it in there   , really happy to still have it though  8) 8)
