I saw it! Given the high demand in US for the Skeletools, I didn't expect to see it in Asia any time soon. But there it was, in a Victorinox shop no less (haha, don't ask me why). I saw the Skeletool and CX at the Hong Kong airport. It had arrived there just a few days before. And like everyone here said, it's smaller than what you expect after seeing the pictures. I had a few minutes with the CX, and it felt great.
I was so tempted to buy it there and then.
It was going for about $850 Hong Kong dollars... but I'd already checked in my luggage and checking in another item was going to be troublesome. Also, have been corresponding with Marc quite a bit on the group buy, didn't want to play him out.
It was a tough choice though, haha, was still thinking about it on the plane.
Sorry for the lack of pictures, didn't have a camera with me. Anyway, those making their way to HK, the shop can be found at Terminal 2, near check in Row Q. It has quite a good range of SAKs too, some with Chinese zodiac scales. That might interest some collectors.
