Great stuff guys!!!!!

S18 today!!!
(Image removed from quote.)

NICE!  8)  ........  :like: the color too!  :ahhh  :D

?? SAK-ster , do you have an 18 with n lock? if so... which do you like better 18 or S18?

Thx Cali!!!    Yes, in both Vic and Wenger.  For daily use, the no lock is prob fine, works great...but for woods walking/camping etc, the lock make solid sense.  It does however, kinda block the scissor nick but it's completely usable, no prob

Yes, it is wearing nicely, but it rides solo in the pocket.  Wear is out and about doing actual work, or more in between tasks during outside installs.

Lots of great pics again today :dd: :like: :like:

So Mags what was on the list of things to do today in your allotment? :like:
Weed the raspberry patch, refelt and fix up the shed roof (which I accomplished with the help of my Yankee screwdriver and Spirit (awl and blade)), dig up a tree stump and drink lots of cthoffee.  :salute:

I read today that the allotment is built on top of a. A Roman Villa, b. A Iron age settlement, and c. A Bronze age settlement.  :ahhh We've been digging up Victorian clay pipe segments, and some pottery too, but I'm thinking of setting aside a bed for 'archaelogical investigations'.

Sounds like a good days work :tu:

If you find anything else interesting like the clay pipe stems let us know :o :like:

You like the Soldier's blade so you would probably like the 178 fine!  I got it because I like the green but I'll always choose a plain edge over a serrated one...too hard for me to sharpen well.  The 178 has a combo of about 30/70 so it's fine for me...plenty of plain edge to use and the serrations are there for heavy cutting. This knife is an "emergency" knife anyway so doesn't get daily carry.

Thanks SG! If you have a chance could you please post in the comparison thread a side by side of the 111 serrated and the 178's blade? It would be big help to me.
Thanks SG!

I'm trying out sporting an old 84mm Tinker on the keychain for Tinker Tuesday. And with the minimum keys I carry, it's surprisingly comfortable.
