This Red OC beauty today (and hopefully for a long time to come).

Very nice Mags. Now that you have an Electric Farmer, what are your plans with the black BuSchröder (might as well send it to me  :D)?

Lol! I have replaced the E Blade with the main blade so it's a regular Farmer now, except for the hollow rivet.

My next plan for the BuSchroder is a hollow rivet too. I was thinking of sending it off to Ronald Schroder as a gift, but he is nowhere to be found!

Upon second thought, I already have one so maybe it´s better to send it to someone else, if at all.  :pok:  Besides, atm I have nothing to return the favor.

No, who did not.  :tu:

Logic dictates either who did or who did not, in this case not.

BTW I liked Atlas shrugged, but it´s a bit over the top. I think anyone who reads it should read Dos Passos´ USA as well.

I've been carrying the Compact for some days now. Started with the Climber, but the Compact has pretty much the same tools. I also carry the Midnight Manager, so I have a small blade. I'm trying a new lanyard: small loop of paracord, used in connection with the hook to carry grocery bags. Tried it and it works like a charm.

It's a simple paracord loop, held in place by simply getting one end through the other. Easy to remove, use and put back again. Makes carrying bags much easier and don't hurt your fingers, like a rope or plastic bag handle do.

Here's a few pics of it:

Hey, I prefer the Climber, too. This one is just thinner and, since I have another small blade and not much use for the awl, I don't mind terribly carrying it instead.

Awesome Scientist! Never seen one of those before.

Thanks!  I find it incredibly useful for a two layer knife.  My one gripe (and it's a small one) is that it doesn't have a reamer on the back, but according to Syph007 that's because you can't add a back tool to the magnifier/Phillips layer.

Love those emerald scales Butch. Though I think they're prolly worth more than the Chinese clone you've stuck them on.  :D

How do you find the Vic sharpener? I keep thinking of buying one, but my current system (ceramic rod and stropping belt) is working well. I'd be interested on your thoughts.

Unless it's a Chinese sharpener.  :pok:

Hey the Chinaman I bought that SAK from swore to me it was Swiss........... :P

The sharpener is good, it is a course ceramic & does a pretty good job of touching up a blade. If it is in real need of attention I use an Ezylap diamond sharpener or a Diamond vee but I use the vic to finish off the process. I think I got my moneys worth.
