Sticking with the Apprentice today.  Note that the scales are black Nylon that has been rubbed back with a Scotch pad.  I normally really dislike Nylon scales, but after doing this these feel far more grippy and pleasing to my hand.

Nice,. Can you purchase the nylon scales separately?  I've never tried those scales before.

Still the Compact and Midnight Manager. Ever since I needed a cork screw at a restaurant, the Compact has been on call.

(Image removed from quote.)

How on Earth does a restaurant not have a corkscrew?!! :o

Apparently, only had one for the three waiters. The last guy to use it misplaced it, all... sorry... awl of them were looking everywhere for it. It finally turned out, but not before I had to hear "what?! you don't have one with you?!" from the guys at the table...

Again the Compact, this time joined by a traditional portuguese Caneças.

Also, the ubiquitous Midnight Manager.

The SwissChamp I bought yesterday!

I though I was meeting this guy to buy his Champion but then I realized it was a SwissChamp! This is my first SwissChamp ever and I'm still so excited!

I'd like to quote SAKWIKI: "The SwissChamp can be considered Victorinox's current masterpiece and top of the range. Consisting of eight tool layers containing almost every tool, it is still small and light enough to be carried in a pocket. "

YES! Nothing could express this better! I do love my LM Wave but this one simply has EVERYthing I need and replaced the Climber in my EDC bag. Happy and proud to be an owner!   :tu: I keep touching my trouser pocket as I work at my desk in the office. And that feeling of holding the thick tool, flipping out the hook or those awesome pliers like a psycho with no reason at all, running my finger tips on the cork screw as if the champaigne bottle awaits me, the semi-molten smile on my face as I let my thumb slide on the scales... Aaaahh...

Yeah, ok, we get it! You made a good buy, the Swisschamp is a great SAK, it can do almost anything you need...
 :salute:

Still, I'd go easy with all awl that "touching my trouser pocket as I work at my desk ", "that feeling of holding the thick tool, flipping out the hook", "let my thumb slide on the scales"... You're liable to get in trouble!

I keep touching my trouser pocket as I work at my desk in the office.

Unless your co-workers know what it is you are touching, that might be awkward for everyone else in your office to see you doing.

Congrats on the new SwissChamp  :like:

EDIT: I see pfrsantos beat me to it with a warning.
