Serge and Ponch,

You should both interchange one side scale to make it a yellow/blue
To make it Swedish?

[It's not failure if you learn something from it]

(Image removed from quote.)

Don't know about Swedish but that gif has made me dizzyish (Image removed from quote.)

It's of an old children book story by author Astrid Lindgren.  I loved it  :D
Kottskrapa might remember  :pok:
Yes I do! Think pippi Longstocking in English?

I loved it when I was a kid and still do. The kids don't watch it that much anymore so that goes for me to I guess..

Yes, I ordered one but the order was lost. None in Israeli outdoor shops that I have seen.

My dream is a Farmer with one more layer for a scissor, so still have a saw. Like many, I love alox scales.

Plus saw, scissors, awl, and blade makes for one h#ll of a sea turtle rescue tool. And other animals, too. I have a Ranger, with all those tools a great file. But not alox, alas.

:D same reasons I've got a Ranger myself. I take it for hikes etc.

Trekker accompanied by a black executive. I just need to comment on that pocket hanger: that pocket hanger really makes a great addition, it complements the tool setup of the executive with bottle opener and some other stuff. When it hands on the inside of the pocket it only shows a pencil clip like sliver. Bought on eBay, can recommend!

I also carry my Whittling Cadet, shown in second picture. It is version five (no wood saw in this version but first time I use alox). Very happy with this one. Will keep on improving!

The 111 mm I keep in a belt pouch together with Sharpie, some worn out knife sharpeners and some drivers. I mostly use this knife to forage wood material from fallen trees when I'm out walking my dog during late evenings, nights, and the knife blade is excelling at removing the outer layers to allow the wood to dry up enough for me to whittle. As it's during winter I just assume that the moist inside the wood has turned I've crystal by the cold and damaged the dead wood on the fiber level. This has shown that it seem to be correct as far as I can see, not being an expert, as it really easily splinters when I cut it.

Still better than nothing as I don't have room to dry up wood at home, living in a city and only got happenstance access to wood, so I am ok with it.
