Hammer Time!
on: January 27, 2013, 07:32:44 PM
After our recent discussion about a keychain hammer tool I mentioned I had one, and that when I got around to having the next Multitool Fashion Show I'd try and take some pics of it.  Well, here it is:

To really get an idea of its absurdity, here's a size comparison with the Raker Ring Tool.

I actually have nails bigger than this hammer!   :ahhh

To make it even sillier, the hammer head separates down the middle showing that in addition to being a hammer, this is a fixed head plier tool.  It is about as blunt nosed as pliers can get, so even though it's a teeny, tiny tool, don't expect to do any fine work with it!

Tucked inside the handle is a bottle opener and tiny blade, roughly the same length and a bit broader than the one found on a 58mm SAK.

This tool was purchased by a friend as a gift/joke a couple of years ago when he went away on vacation.  I think it's actually pretty cool for what it is, but I really wouldn't ever consider it useful for much more than cleaning fingernails or opening a beer.  If it opens too many beers I may actually try out the hammer...

It's so CUTE! :D

Maybe good for peening pins? Doing cobbler work? Pixie warhammer?

It has such a small amount of mass that you couldn't peen pins or even drive penny nails with this thing.

You'd be hard pressed to crack a peanut with this little thing!

(Image removed from quote.)

Now that you have put it side by side with the Squirt, i realize the size of it.
(Well, i didn't saw really careful the photo with the Raker Ring Tool.)
Very nice tool.
And i believe the best use for it, is like a chain key.

No, but I am definitely looking at how I can make it a useable tool :)
