Bring some cash. There's always interesting stuff at the store that isn't usually available elsewhere. I can pretty much guarantee that if you pick up a few extras you'll have no trouble getting rid of them here.

Yeah, oftentimes they have "factory seconds" for sale, like this Skeletool that was mis-marked as a Freestyle

I'm for sure going to ask about the factory seconds! Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to see if I can squeeze the tour into my work schedule.

Lucky :P  I would love to go there, but it's on the opposite side of the country, so it isn't something I can just stop in and visit :P  Have fun though

Me too! I got a mis-labelled Squirt with it too. Nice oddities to have :)

be sure to sign up for the tour ahead of time (if you haven't already), as they have a tendency to fill up.  http://www.leatherman.com/about/tour

I do highly recommend Saltie's restaurant close to Leatherman on the river.  Rumor has it they even let Aussie's in to eat.

You should also take the time to check out the other manufacturers in the Portland area as well as check Craigslist regularly for knives and multitools for sale.

I just got out of the Leatherman store and they swapped my very old and damaged ( abused ) BO Wave for a brand new one from a box from the sales floor. I guess they didn't have a factory rebuilt one lying there handy so they straight up just gave me a brand new one!! I love this company.

Yea that cool Learherman art is huge!! It's probably a good two feet  long hanging on the wall in there. I'd love to have it in my house.
