Even though I am trying to show the Super Tinker a little love by carrying it this week, I have two Explorers in easy reach and many more in another room.  The inline Philips driver and magnifier with a 4 layer form factor set it apart from other SAKs.  The Explorer is my favorite SAK!

I really have to get another one or two... Having no backup for my Explorer bother's me a bit...
I have plenty of backups for the Tinker and Spartan though, even have two Huntsman's.  :ahhh

Great pic and knife!  They really do grow on you don't they?

If they grew in MY garden I'd be over the moon. :D

I submit that the fact that I keep buying Explorers is evidence of my great appreciation.  :)

I must have 15 or 20 by now.  At least I am trying to add to my colorful assortment...

All three of these purchases have arrived and they look great in person!  I already have a Sapphire, White, Black and Red (plus Camo scales).  I am looking forward to a group photo of the various scale colors.

Here are the new additions with the seller photos:

After seeing a photo of someone's blue Explorer on this site, I was hooked!  The problem was that I couldn't find one.  I did see some blue scales from a Switzerland seller on e-bay but I have a preference for keeping my purchases within the continental US, probably to limit complications.  After several months of searching, I was amazed to see a blue Explorer for sale and the same seller was offering a yellow Explorer (both "Buy-it now" offerings).  I was beside myself with joy since I had just purchased the Emerald Explorer (probably should have bought a Lottery ticket :) ).  So, keep looking!  They are out there!

Oh I think both those listings are on my Watch list already LOL.  I think I'll be getting one with us scales.

I agree that there is something compelling about the inline Philips!  I have the same high regard for the inline awl on most of the alox SAKs.
