Now I want to put a SwissChamp on my birthday wish list.  :twak:
You have definitely NOT been a good boy this year Pabs! No Swisschamp for you!
That's good, I can put other stuff on the list then.
You're probably good for an orange and/or a piece of stick. How old will you be?

...I rarely use amazon anymore but they had it for only 61 dollars that time.
Same here! The last time I'd looked at them, they were over $70 for the standard red celloid. Now they're practically giving them away over there. It's like Amazon MADE ME do it!

This is the very first Champ that I ever owned, and its been all over the world with me. It's now near the 25+ mark and still going strong!

The Swiss Champ is a remarkable tool--not only supremely useful but durable as evidenced by your plus 25 years with one you purchased. I am very partial to the Swiss Champ and recently purchased my 12th SC. Among my purchases is the original model release that replaced the Champion (pictured as partially out of the tan pouch in the photo below):

Wow!

Is the leather sheath with red cord a custom one? What is the leather made of?

The red leather sheath with red thread is a Victorinox product. If you are referring to the red knotted lanyard coming out of a sheath, that is custom.  The only other custom in the photo is the tan leather sheath.

Yes, the black custom leather. What is it made of? It's soft leather relative to the other's right?  :tu:

As promised a Lego/SAK photo.  Something I have found out while camping is that my Apple watch has to be charged every day, yet my SAK has been happily ticking along for months now without a hitch.

My new Swiss Champ is taking the maiden voyage today!
This will be the first time out of the box and in the pocket since I got it a couple days ago.
Yesterday, I was working in a dirty fireplace around abrasive brick surfaces and just couldn't stomach the thought of trashing my new SC on Day 1, so I used my Craftsman.

The addition of the SC to my arsenal slides everything down a slot. I was EDC'ing my Craftsman on my days off and packing a Deluxe Tinker in my work bag. Now the DT is in the closet. The Craftsman will be my work bag SAK and the SC will be my EDC "at home" SAK.
At work, I wear scrubs and since I work in a penitentiary, I can't take any cutting or fire starting tools inside; so, the work bag actually stays in the car. By far, the EDC SAK sees much more action than the work bag SAK. In fact, the work SAK is simply a food prep knife and probably could be replaced by almost any other knife.

Thank you, FB! I am really happy to have this special SAK. I remember seeing one of your Swiss Champ line-ups that featured an XAVT and perhaps an XLT.  If you have it handy, Perhaps you could share it either in this thread or the Swiss Champ Sunday one. BTW, happy Swiss Champ Sunday! If I remember correctly, you have a yellow scale SC for such an occasion.

Jim
