My first SwissChamp purchased in 1993 with a check.  I still own this set.

I too like the green scales.  Now I have a second Swisschamp (not pictured) but I haven't decided whether I want to put green scales on it too or use the sapphire, black, ruby or just leave the red ones on it!

I'd go with the green man! Cool color :tu:

That is the way I am leaning!  I do have all the scale choices here that I listed so I don't have to buy them, just decide!  LOL  I do wish I still had a set of the yellow ones, I wonder how they would look!  :)

You don't want to see the tip of the main blade though, at some point I must have tried to pry something and it's a tad bent, not much, but enough.

SAK blades are quite easy to straighten FB. Best to have a vice and a pair of strong pliers or mole grips.
Put the SAK in the vice with the end just poking out above the bend  - Then bend the tip over with the pliers ....

It's a little nerve racking as the steel bends a surprising long way before it straightens - So go a little at a time

I really need a dedicated pry tool on a SAK.  One that is in the inline configuration, and not a back tool.
Haven't you already got two - A thick one and a thinner one ..... using the openers  ???     Naughty girl for using the blade :twak:

You know it's surprising how many people use the blade as a prying tool - Given the number of broken tipped SAKs you see on ebay !!

I'll try that straightening tip, thank you Huntsman!
It's true there are two openers and I should have been using them, I was in my 20s what did I know  :D , but on my current EDC, I only have one combo opener.

I had the “bright” idea to choose Stayglow scales for my first ever Swisschamp.  It came with a Zermatt pouch, but honestly it’s more pocketable than I was expecting.  Add another knife to the ever-expanding rotation...

Thanks!! :D I think it's the ultimate SAK because it has a lot of tools and they are not too specialized.. I remember my father used to carry one since i was a baby and he always fixed the situation  8)
Now he's in love with the XLT but that's really too big!!!

Is it Friday yet?  :pok:  :D
I've been lining up some of my SAKs and noticed that the SwissChamp is a tad trimmer than my EDC plus a Compact on top....so essentially a very manageable carry.  :tu:

New club member here, my Swisschamp just arrived today from our friend ThePeacent.  :mail:

Used, but in nice condition, I couldn't be happier. Cleaned the knife and polished the scales until the new ones arrive (still on the way), but I didn't want to wait till then, so here I am (...rock you like a hurrricane!!! - Sorry! ).
