It turns out that one of my childhood heroes, former Mythbuster Adam Savage, really likes the SwissChamp. He also has a giant, motorized Swiss Army Knife store display model that he's repaired himself. The beginning of the second video made me extremely jealous.

Just a posing pic from me today. Ready to travel, in checked luggage of course, and the UK is not known for being overly knife friendly so it'll probably spend most of its time in a suitcase, but I don't like to travel entirely without a multitool or SAK.
Cheers!

The Swiss Champ is going to be my traveling companion when my journies begin anew in a couple of years. Nice choice DT!

Red and black.  If only I had a roulette wheel for background, but the "all purpose" is appropriate.  :tu:

I had a Victorinox Recruit for the longest time, and went to the Swiss Champ.  Speaking of extremes, from one of the most minimalist SAKs to the most feature packed SAKs.  I feel like I'm covered for any task that can come up.

One of my favourite tools on the Swiss Champ is the magnifier.  It is so handy to look at super fine details.  Great also to look at ultra fine details of plants, insects, and mini creatures etc in the outdoors as well.  Opens up a whole new world of fine details and perspective you normally would not see.  It's like having a portable microscope to on you.

Just picked up this Swiss champ in translucent sapphire. I will admit, I've never been a big fan of this color, but it is growing on me. I went with this color because I found it for $68 shipped brand new in the unopened box, so I couldn't pass it up! The color is growing on me for sure!

This afternoon I decided to polish the scales of my black Swisschamp I got second hand recently, I thought I had some polish paste but sadly I don't ! So for now, here it is, I'm already quite pleased as a first time trying that, can't wait to make it shine again  :dd:

Very nice! I almost prefer that sort of “brushed” or “satin” scale finish compared to glossy finish, since it hides scratches better.
