Hi
on: February 17, 2013, 05:53:11 PM
Hi,

Just introducing myself. I have been lurking in the shadows for a while now. I felt the need to join this forum and get involved. I generally just stalk forums to learn information and do not usually join or contribute.

I started carrying a leatherman squirt p4 everyday about 6 months ago. I was dramatically impressed with how useful something so small can be. I progressed to also carrying a SAK 108mm solo and then a Alox solo as security at work raised concerns about the larger knife. I did try carrying a Leatherman Fuse for a while but I was not getting any use out of the larger pliers as I usually have a tool kit around. That was pretty much how I got the bug.

My favourite carry at the moment is a SAK Huntsman. My most recent purchase is a Cadet

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome. The huntsman is the most useful thing I own to carry at the moment, I wished they sold it with a mini-screw driver though, as a glasses wearer that would be a definite requirement.

G'day & welcome mate  :D :D a Cadet you say   the Alox bug  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :D :D.

BTW I reckon you could probably pick up a micro screw driver for your Huntsman cheap somewhere here or a seller at EDCSource   http://www.edcsource.com/

Ordered one yesterday.

£3.50 delivered. This worked out as the cheapest solution.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VICTORINOX-GENUINE-SPARE-SCREWDRIVER-FOR-SWISS-ARMY-KNIFE-A3643-/370751451860?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_BoatEquipment_Accessories_SM&hash=item56528232d4&_uhb=1

I carry the swiss+tech utili-key so this might work out to be a bit redundant. I has to have it though.
The power of alox is definitely seducing me.
