Remodding a mod!
on: February 16, 2013, 02:56:26 PM
A few years ago, I was lucky enough to get a Neil Bee Modification.  He built me a mod that I first called a Master Electrician, but then, realized that following the NKB naming convention, it would be more appropriately called Electrogolfer  ;)

I love carrying this tool.   It really has a nice feel, looks beautiful and has a great tool selection.  The only problem was, the scissors used the older hook backspring, so that there was a gap on the backside.  The problem with this was, on the farm, it collected a ton of dirt in the space.  I constantly worried I would destroy it on the farm.  So it sat in the tool case most of the time, only going with me when I was going out with my wife.

I contacted Syph007 about remodding it with his flat backspring.  This is the result:

I've been carrying this on the farm nearly continuously since I got it back.  It's fantastic with excellent snap!  The best part is, even in the grimiest environment, it stays relatively free of dirt in the liners (like a regular Farmer).

Robert:  :tu: :tu:  Thanks again!
