This is a great website you all have here! I stumbled across it a couple weeks ago while I was searching for some info on the Swisstool Spirit X. I then managed to get lost in the Leatherman forum and barely made it outta there! I'm a big Learherman fan, have been since I bought my first PST years ago. I'm up to six Leathermans now, a Gerber or two, and have my first Swisstool on the way.

Welcome!  Glad you found Mt.o.  I visited Juneau a couple of months ago and I loved it.  Hope to get out your way someday when its a little warmer.

Welcome to the forum from yet another Michigan member.  Where at in Alaska are you from?  My favorite trip ever was to your state a few years ago and I fell in love with it.

I keep trying to eat my wife to move there... But so far no luck :)

Welcome to the forums bdAmmo, the first time I was in the Anchorage area I could still see Portage glacier, the last time I was there, all I could see was a Portage glacier museum,we just got a foot of snow today in Kansas, reminded me of some of the days in Alaska.

Yep, for the most part. The Copper River Basin is a huge area surrounding the Copper River. There are a handful of small towns in that area. Your friend has some of the best salmon fishing in the world right in their back yard.

Nice collection of Leathermans you have there sir. I'm digging the MUT, maybe if I take a page out of Mike's book, I could get my wife to get me one for my bday. Hehehe

Funny thing, he's not a fisherman. He's a high risk photographer. He wants me to come visit but I won't until it's warmer.

*edit- thanks for the compliment on my LMs. I love the MUT (and most of them) for my heavy work in the studio. I have a couple of Juices and SAKs that aren't pictured as well. The Juices have been getting more play time
