Leatherman Wave - Swap scissors?

I love the large scissors on my original Wave. Can the smaller lockable scissors on the new Wave be replaced with the non-lockable scissors from the old Wave?

Welcome to the forum, hennypenny. I'm sure someone who knows will come along shortly. I never had the original Wave so I can't help you there.

It does actually look doable but it may be difficult getting a five and six point security torx to take them apart...
God made man but Samuel Colt made them equal.
