Have you noticed the texture difference between the vintage scales and the late-model scales?

you are mister detail! I just thought it was because of wear, not actual scale differences!

you can see the differences on the edges, different machining. Terry "Acute" NutSak! (sounds bad!)

The result is that the "bumps" have a noticeably sharper feel on the new ones.

Okay, I posted my first picture (my Farmer family) at CPF in the MT section and they moved it to the knife section,
I consider it an MT (having other tools including a blade).

What do you consider it? SAK/Farmer= Multitool or Knife?!

I really consider it a SAK.  Between multitool and knife though, I think I would consider it a multitool.

However, if I were to put this thread in a forum, it would be either the "Swiss forum" or "Edged tools".
