Yeah that happens when you try to post on a thread over 120 days old.

on one hand, it makes sense, on the other, it seems to be annoying as you are probably posting in a relevant discussion of a topic rather than have the same discussion multiple times

I'm sure you can turn that off in your user settings.

I actually like that feature, as it can prevent you looking a complete plonker when the wisdom you are about to impart has already been imparted, if you see what I mean

Sometimes it is handy like Dave says but other times it does do my head in, especially when it happens about 5 times in a row because people keep on posting!
