I thought I was in the 108mm club with my MIL-TEC GAK until the scales fell off 4 weeks after I received it.
They were held on with a few spots of glue & underneath was the worst peening work I've ever seen.
It looks like it's one of the new GAKalikes made in China.
According to this website I came across they are able to supply 10,000 pieces per month at $1 each!!!

Does that count?  ::)

Apart from those mod fodder bits and pieces, I do own - and really like - some 108s. They have a nice size as a companion folder to a Plier based MT.
I wish there was a solo with a Screwdriver (apart from teh Combotool) - I often need a wide screwdriver blade to open maintanance flaps.

I have a Standard GAK and made Custom Camo scales for this Vic Solo.

Have a trio of GAKs on the way and another red scaled solo which will be used to pair with one of the GAKs to get a GAK Plus with scissors.

I have exactly one solo with corkscrew that I bought right before they were discontinued and I like it very much. I'm not going to trashuse it as it is now collectible.

I've noticed that some red 108s have darker scales than others, is that just different  years of manufacture .

Hi, I would think so. The Solo and Solo plus in my collection have darker scales and they appear to be relatively new.
