  So it has Australian Apricot wood? Thought was some of that olive wood you had bought. Turned out nice.

   Glad you was able to forge it. Was reading up on the kiln method, or an acetylene torch. Seemed more used the kiln/baking method for the stubborn or unknown steels. Is good to see that you have the tenacity of a true craftsman.  :cheers:

I was intending to use olive wood on this, but I had the piece of apricot there and the darker wood seemed a better compliment to the etched grey blade.

  Is more awesome though, native grown wood form your own country!  :D

PTR is still in the drivers seat for modder of the year. First the wenger scissors in Vic, and now this!

Remember- +B first got noticed by the Big Vic when he modded a soldier with a Damascus blade. Them eyes be watching!

::)  oh stop it...  you're making me blush.  I'm just a backyard hacker. Some of my ideas might be a bit "left field" but I'm far to ADOSSS (Attention Deficit, Oh Something Shiny Syndrome) to turn out consistent work of the standard being achieved by some of the true craftsmen here.
