Look what I found! (Picture heavy)
on: February 27, 2013, 10:43:16 PM
I was lucky enough to purchase an item I'm sure you guys will appreciate:

Hmmm……What do we have here?  An old style Leatherman box but it looks almost new.

OK let’s look at the back.

Now let’s have a look at the end.  Nice, Wave and tool adapter in sheath.

A peek inside.

Wow, that sheath looks new, and rather big?

It’s always nice to have all the goodies.

Let’s open up the sheath.

A look inside the sheath.   Look at that Wave in the sheath sideways.

Ooooooh….shiny, and it’s an Old Wave.

The tool adapter was born in June 2002.

The bits haven’t even been taken out of the bag.  Score.

The Wave was born in September 2003.

A pretty cool set especially given it’s age.  A new in box old Wave combination kit.  What a huge sheath though.

:)

I'm not sure.  It's hard to find any information on the older combination packs.  Maybe someone will come along and answer.

Well done!

I found my brand new PST on kijiji (similar to Craigslist) a few days ago too! Old style box, all paper work and new sheath too! These old school tools are starting to come out of the closet...

Very nice fine.  I picked up the Supertool version with a nylon sheath a while back.  Not nearly as sweet as find as yours.

Very nice score :tu:  One of the remaining items I would like to eventually get is an original Wave (preferably NIB), so I'm rather jealous
