Wrong replaceable cutter

 :facepalm: didn't realize there were 2 models and bought the wrong one for the Rebar plier.  >:(

Well, this is obviously an excuse to buy the other tool.   

Is the only difference the black oxide?  If so, you could use the "wrong' one anyway.

No, it appears there are small cutouts on the bottom of the rebar one. This likely means that the BO ones will not fit correctly in the rebar.

They will fit. The top pair are the "fuse wire cutters", and thus no hard wire notch, for the eod tools. The st300, MUT, and rebar use the same cutters  :tu:

  Contact their customer support, am sure they could exchange it, but means more postage. Or you could get a tool those do fit and call it good!  :D

  You could also use a black enamel paint and/or black fingernail polish.

Yes you are right, without the notch, the cutter does not fit nicely and the plier cannot close completely. Didn't notice the notch there before I bought.  :salute:

Postage from here will not justify sending back for exchange, so I will just keep it, who knows  :whistle:

If the only difference is the notch, just grind one yourself, they are just steel, not carbide like Gerber's.
