Hi there.
on: March 12, 2013, 01:40:32 AM
Bought my first leatherman this week. I'm in love with it, always wanted one! I hinted to my wife that I wanted one for my birthday, but she took off for a trip and it was an impulse buy. Coolest thing I've bought in a long time! I've already fixed some things around the house. She was disappointed that she no longer has an easy birthday gift for me, but I told her to buy another one for the car.

These are great little inventions, they help us handymen and wanna-bes be more productive.

I love 'em! :)

What's funny is I thought Leathermen were for leatherworking for the longest time! :)

Welcome aboard  :tu: Now buy a Gerber  >:D

The Gerber will instantly get you a promotion at work for demonstrating efficiency, wisdom and bravery - whereas the Leatherman is liable to get you sacked for doing the Harlem Shake in the nude. The Gerber will also improve sexual performance and make you irresistable to Charlize Theron, whereas the Leatherman will just get you banned from the bedroom for doing the Harlem Shake in the nude. There is also a marked difference in response in how traffic cops will treat you. The Gerber will get you a polite apology and free escort to wherever you are going, but the Leatherman ... you'll find out soon enough

So which Leatherman is going to get you arrested for doing the Harlem Shake in the nude on a public highway?

and just for your info 50ft-trad isn't the owner of 'Gerber tools' nor is he on commission... yet... as far as we know ?
despite his previous post. he just doesn't get out much  :D

 oh my God, that was great! Really though, buy a Swiss Tool, it'll let you do the Harlem shake nude, and people will love you for it!

I hear a lot of good about Gerber tools. I'll have to check 'em out. :)

I'm based out of Massachusetts, Boston area.

Birthday is in May.

Maybe I'll ask for a Gerber, and use the ST 300 for the car.
