Cody uses a multi tool. Looked like a wave or a surge.

From the size and shape of the pliers, I think it's the original PST :think:
"Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall;
 Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:
 And some condemned for a fault alone." -William Shakespeare, King Lear (1608), Act IV, scene 6, line 169

I don't think it can be a pst, the pivot is too big.

I noticed this as well; I thought it was a Wave.  I'll try to go back and double-check...

watched this episode again last night.  it's definitely a Leatherman, and the large pivot screws clearly indicate that it's either a Wave or Surge.  (I'll try to get a screencap of the shot I'm referring to.)  I couldn't tell for sure, but my money's on it being a new Wave.

After rewinding/pausing that episode about 5 times each time it was shown, I can say with high confidence that its a new Wave. When Joe takes it out of the sheath initially, you can see the locking mechanism at the bottom of the handles, making it a Surge or new Wave. Later in the episode you get the profile of the pliers and you don't see any indents in them. If you look on the LM site, the Surge pliers have indents on the flat sides, whereas the Wave pliers are smooth.

As a sidenote, it was an excellent episode, one of my new favorites.
