Scratch in Red Alox Scale - how to fix it

Drilling out the Pins of a brand new 93mm Alox Knife it happened. I scratched the surface, so that I can see the silver aluminium shining through. 

Any idea, how I can fix it? It doesn't need to be uber perfect, but good enough to be nice again.
I though about nail polish. But that's hard and brittle and won't hold for long.

Will make some pictures soon, when I'm home again.

That knife will be an easter present for my girlfriend.....

Depending on how how big the scratch is, semi-transparent Pens (Like edding markers) might be able to hide the scratch.
Or you could look what new car has about the same colour as teh ALOX scale and buy a touch up laquer set.

Or aask Syph if he can send you a set he not already drilled and  countersunk, maybe?!

Have the scales reanodized in HAIII?

I see no option to anodize it. I don't want to do Alox work again/often enough (I like back tools and wood/micarda scales).

Maybe an edding is the first choice, but a laquer set sound good too. I think, I'll try it.
