New tools on the way...
on: December 06, 2006, 08:24:19 PM
I finally got my hands on a SOG Toolclip!  It'll be a nice addition to the collection alongside the Mirco Toolclip.

Anyone else get any new tools lately?

Not me- I am going through a dry spell leading up to Christmas.

And then another post Christmas dry spell where I can't afford anything!

I've been on a SAK spree from Tim.  Just filling out my collection.  I need/want a Cybertool & one of the collector's series - don't we all.

I'm still resisting the urge to pull the trigger on that new SAK Rescue Tool.

The fever has gotten really bad. I'd almost put it out of my mind earlier this week, then today I saw someone wearing a red coat with yellow sleeves, and it reminded me of that fancy Rescue Tool sheath. Now I'm all lathered up again!

I'm afraid there is only one cure....... :P

The colors of that sheath make me think that's the model that Ronald McDonald would carry!

All my tools are too shiny. I am thinking of getting either a black oxide Wave or black oxide SOG PowerLock. Any suggestions.

The black SwissTool is sweeeeeet....

But the black coating on the BuckTools seems to be the most durable I have ever seen.

Hehe... you know... I didn't even think that when I started this thread... I've also got a BuckLite and that Silver Farmer & Vic Flashlight combo ordered...

I think I've hit the 2nd stage of this disease... I can't remember what I've ordered...

That black BuckTool is nice!  Did Buck only do that to the 360 model?  Are any of the 355's or 350's like that?

I do not believe there were any 355 BuckLite's produced except those with the stainless finish. However, the 350 Mini was made in both stainless and black finishes. (Pictured HERE .)

And best of all, the full sized 360 was also made with a camo finish. (First multi tool with a factory camoflage job, I'm pretty sure.)

Hmm... on one hand that's really cool...

but on the other hand... it's just added a black 360, a camo 360, and a black 350 to my list of tools wanted... ugh

I had the same problem.  Talking with J-Sews and Def always makes your tool wish list longer. :D

Ahh yes, I remember those days very well. It was only a few years ago; I was a naive young man, and had slightly more than a passing interest in these new-fangled (to me) plier tools. I recall reading an internet conversation between two gentlemen. They were discussing the lofty goal of owning one of each version of the multi tools made by Buck Knives.
"Hey," I thought to myself, "that would be kinda neat."
So over time, I bought a 360 BuckTool, a 355 BuckLite, and eventually a 350 MiniBuck.
"Done!" I assumed, rather proud of myself.
But then I found out about the black versions. Of course, I absolutely HAD to have those! And what about the camoflage version? Well of course! And don't forget about the 360CL with a pocket clip. Oh, and the 360FL with the wire-stripper file blade. And how about a 360WM workman version? Etc, etc.

Yessir, I know all about tool wish lists that keep getting longer!

And incidently, those two gentlemen whom I hold somewhat responsible for my present condition? Well, they are both currently members of Multitool.org.

So BEWARE!
:D
