I'm still finishing the 2nd season, but I'm really enjoying the show.  I'd heard alot of good things about it, but never got around to watching it.  But I can say I am not disappointed at all, fantastic stuff.

Love, love, LOVE it. Haven't seen the first ep of the new season. That's our Friday Night entertainment. So... awaiting patiently.

Meanwhile, on a NSFW related note... the Axis of Awesome song, 'Rage of Thrones' for all of you who read the book first.

Great series and like you Micah I can't wait for the next episode(s)!

they really are changing big parts of the story and characters from the book (even to the point of changing a person from good to bad or vise versa).

I understand time constraints and budgets but damn! but it's still a very good series and I want more.

Haven't read this particular series of books but I know the feeling. The book usually is better. Urghh!!! :tu:
Love the show, hate watching series, so I'll have to wait till the season is over.

no series or movie ever truly follows the books 100%... Plus your own imagination can twist a character's appearance to something different to that of the director's ideal, or even the available actors.

I don't think I've ever been 100% happy with a movie version of anything I read beforehand.

More Dragons!  More Snow Zombies!
More Episodes! Shorter Breaks!  :P

Shawshank Redemption and Sin City are pretty close though.

I think I'll wait till the end of the season and watch them all at once. That's what I did with the first two.

A part of the show is being filmed in Croatia too. :tu:

I really loved the books and think they're doing great with the series. The hard part is the wait between books. The 6th book isn't due out until 2015.

As far as screen adaptation I think The Green Mile got it a close as you can, imo.

Who's your favorite GoT character? Mine is Jon Snow.

Tyrian, far beyond anyone else. Both the character and Peter Dinklage's portrayal.

I love every scene with Little Finger and Varys. I haven't loved a hateful rivalry this much since Londo/G'Kar from Babylon 5.

I find Arya's path very interesting, and horribly tragic.

And, I really love the character of Daenerys, but honestly, I'm not super-fond of Emilia Clarke's portrayal. I don't think much of her as an actress.

And Sam Tarly.

Some big stuff happened this episode, it is just not clear yet.  The Reeds are huge, plus the the last Arya scene is rather important.

Some crazy stuff happens this season, I just hope it is not too crazy for the general public!  Book three be the good  stuff!

I see not all characters are being featured in each EP... that's not going to help the confusion...
