So did the Iron Bank's gold make it to the landing, or melted???

Yeah, I thought it was the food/grains.

I'm not sure what to think about the gold... I read elsewhere today that surely it would be in the Lannister's best interests to perhaps be a little in debt with the Iron Bank - as then the Lannisters would always have the uneasy alliance of the Iron Bank following them around for future investments/battles etc.

Also, didn't the battle take place fairly near to King's Landing?

Couldnt wait til tomorrow so I watched it. This episode is one of the reasons why we like GOT so much! EP2 and EP3 were nothing to write about really, but EP4 made the wait worthwhile!

True. Although it also would have been handy to capture the food for the Unsullied at Casterly Rock.

I thought I heard one of the captains tell Jaime the gold had reached King's Landing?
Just checked, Randyll Tarly tells him "All the gold's safely through the gates at King's Landing".

(I had seen somewhere someone saying the attack was to get the gold, which would cripple Cersei)

I thought I remembered. Someone mentioning that. Did you guys catch who saved Jaime? Was it Bron? Dickon?

In my defence I also watched the new Twin Peaks that evening - so you're lucky I'm not talking about Jaime being in the Black Lodge!

I think it was definitely Bronn who saved Jaime - there's a post on the GOT Reddit which shows the screengrabs and it certainly looks like it's Bronn.

Bronn. Rocks.  8)

Yes, I'm certain it was Bronn who knocked Jamie into the water.  My guess is that he'll pull Jamie out and they'll both be captured leading to Tyrion meeting his brother and old friend.

Still missing a couple of characters. Maybe they'll appear in the next episode.

They seem to be going around all the threads, solving the loose ends and bringing everyone toghether. I'm hoping to see the next battle, I bet it's going to be epic! Like a duel, but as intense as a clash of armies!

Daryl and Negan going against each other mano-a-mano will be brutal!

Dickon (teehee!) kinda saved Jaime earlier when he was fighting a Dothraki.

Question.......if you could access the data that was hacked.......why would you spoil it for yourself?

I don't get the leverage the blackmailer hackers seem to think they have......?

Ok, ok.  I watched it again.  The gold is back, and it was probably Bronn that saved Jaime but still not awl that sure.

Good call Gareth, you're probably right.

How about a situation where Tyrion has to make a call whether to spare their lives or stand up for them or something?
