I have a feeling that Arya has not finished with her list myself?

Everyone except Cersei & The Mountain are in the same place that she is right now and what are the odds that this will happen again?

I am thinking that there will be some pretty huge tension around this as maybe Brianne stumbles upon Arya and the Kingslayer going at it during the fight?
It would be a great distraction for sure.

Just a Dream that I had,not 3 eyed Raven stuff or anything though!

I found episode 2 very satisfying.  It was about the characters and their relationships, and after awl, isn't that what storytelling is about?   I think they pulled off shooting an entire episode in one location extraordinarily well and can't seem to remember another episode where that was the case.  This episode forces the viewer to look back at the past in contrast to present circumstances.  For example, Jaime's many dynamic relationships with Tyrion, Brienne, Bran, Cersei or Theon's evolution as a character, the 3 remaining Night's Watchmen...   I think a story of this magnitude needs to pay respects to the characters and acknowledge the journey that has taken place, just like any good book would.  It can't be straight battle for 6 episodes... and now we have the arrival of the White Walkers at Winterfell, I'm stoked.

Agreed.  It's as near to a "nice" episode as we're very going to get in GoT.  Think of Shakespeare's Henry V walking though his camp on the eve of Agincourt, the lull before the storm.

A couple of thoughts:

We keep hearing that the crypts are the safest place in Winterfell....

I think we will be seeing formerly dead  Starks walking again before this is all over?!
Safer in the Crypt?
Not likely.

I think the next episode is directed by the same person who directed The Battle Of The smurfs.
That and the shorts we have seen indicate we will have a big battle...

I didn't see the Night King and his dragon. They could be off somewhere else on another mission..... but probably just being coy.

Excellent, excellent episode.  Loved the fact there was very little dialogue.

Also loved the fact that, while we saw Arya kick ass in the battle, they very deliberately cut away from her for a good long while and focused on everyone else so as to make her sudden appearance all the more effective.  My only question is; where the hell was she jumping from?  The angle felt all wrong for it to have been from the tree and her target wasn't near any wall.

she wore a white walkers face

Explain how that works exactly?

That was one of the silliest things that I have ever seen I think, she just appears out of nowhere as she is the Mother of Ninjas and all.

The entire episode was so dark and confusing that I really could not say who is alive or not at this point?

I am also pissed off that the entire plot up to last night was about "Winter Coming" it seemed but then in one dark episode the Long Night just cam & went? :salute: :twak:

That was on LOTR scale  :salute:

I was so into it I was confused for a moment, felt sure they'd stuffed it and this was the last episode.........but there's plenty more to kill  :woohoo:

This show is infamous for it's plot twists and that is just another one. We are tricked into thinking the biggest battle will be against the dead whereas it's really against Cersei. Well done I say.  :salute:

I just had a thought... what if Qyburn has studied the (dead) captured Wight from Season 7 and learnt to apply some of it's technology in Cersei's favour....?

I thought it missed, although I didn't see it fly past. I don't remember a dragon reacting to getting hit though either... I will have to watch it again.

Also...

It was good to see Dany get a few kills, a shame Sansa didn't get any.

This time he seemed to miss the Dragon, they both show up in the trailer for the next episode.

The WW seem to be made of Ice too at least when they die so I can't imagine how she has an Ice Face really but on the other hand Plot Armor allows for some unexpected twits if that is what you want to call stupid writing and a mad rush to the Finale which is how it seems to me.

Also why the hiding of content here?
We are talking about a show that we all presumably watch so what is there to spoil exactly?

If you do not want to be spoiled, don't look here.

Nice!

I am just let down by the whole rush to the end, none of what is going on now was written by the Author of the books and it feels like we are being cheated out of answers we stuck around for 7 seasons to learn.

Chalking this up to plot twists is a no go for me.

Oh yeah,I am just too lazy to hide content too! :pok:

Wow. I love how different each episode is. I love that people are pissed off at each turn of events because things didn't go their way. It would be very boring and predictable otherwise. I think the scriptwriters are doing a good job.  :tu:
