$50 is pretty high for this. I think it could be cool, but I don't like this style pliers found on hammer multitools!

This is like the corollary to the the expression, less is more... as in this case, more is less.   You could buy each of those tools separately for less total cost and have better results.  The point of a multitool is to carry it around with you.  I dont see someone pocketing that thing.

They sell something similar here, made in China, for a few coins. Looks cheap and ugly. I'd rather use my shoe or even the Surge for an emergency.

There are several alarm bells for me on that tool, but the two that shout out the most are ...

The telltale nasty Phillips driver, a frequent and reliable sign to drop the tool immediately and run away as fast as possible (to be honest I have had a couple of OK tools with this driver, but generally it's a warning IMHO)


The single pin holding the fixed jaw


compared to the two pin construction of the SOG Toolclip which does this style pliers properly
