South African Army knife by Vic

Found it at last, I've been looking for it for almost 2 years and finally found it this morning.The blade has been sharpened a bit to much and it has some nicks on the scales but I'm still really chuffed

That's a good find, I almost had one of these I was very sad when the deal fell through. One day... just because I want to take a picture of it with some other stuff.

Apologize in advance for using this old topic.
I recently found one of these South Africa Army knife.
Strangely enough my SAK does NOT have a key ring (and seems was never installed).
Does anybody know if all the knives issued were supposed to be equipped with the key ring?

Very nice.

I've got one with the keyring in near new shape.
The one without the keyring is much harder to find.
I've only ever seen one other for sale last year.

Either look good to me!

I do have a Pioneer model without the keyring, which will have to do for me, even if it does not have quite the cachet of the South African Soldier model.
