Leatherman Core - still available!!!

I was surprised to find a Leatherman Core for sale at my local hardware store for £68 GBP ($105 USD). It was in production from 2005 to 2010. Is it worth picking up for that price? Would you say it is a collectible item now? They also have the Supertool 300 for the same price, which I would much prefer, but I'm thinking more as an investment.
What do people think?

Which store?? i'm only in scarborough and i want a supertool 300, in york on fri!!

One of the local military surplus places in Sheffield has the bo version for £50 at the moment.

I would of thought $50-$70US for a new Core mate , but I do have access to US Ebay  :think: :think:

The core is a very good mt,i got mine from amazon for £30 boxed but that was a good price  :tu:
