Bucktool Sheffield Clone.

How about a clone of a Bucktool.

The Chinese maid Sheffield copied the Butcktools unique opening style...but not its quality.  :D

Any chance of a quick review of how well this clone functions?

It does not compare to the real deal that is for sure. Handles are stiff. The tools clump to the extreme. Some of them are nail breakers to boot. The locking mechanism is old school, and it doesn't do a great job at that.

But at least it doesn't have a full serrated AND a half-serrated blade like the Bucktool.  I just cannot figure out the logic in doing that.  Surely the half-serrated should have been a full plain edge blade ?

Sheffield's chinese boffins seem to like copying some of the less common MTs (eg Kershaw A100), but I rarely see any of them for sale anywhere.  Maybe the lawyers for the firms they are copying off intercept them in western markets ?

You could be right about that..as they aren't all that common on this side of the pond either.

How much, and where do I find one?

(No, I'm not going to use it. I collect knock-offs.)

Yeah that doesn't even look close to the quality of the original
