Do any of you use something like this to store SAK's & small tools?

No, but it looks like a good way to spend a lot of money. Let me illustrate.

Let's say you like fountain pens, instead of multitools. One pen maybe you got for cheap at a garage sale, but it's a rare gem, worth a lot of money. Maybe the next one is also cheap, but it's got panache. Pretty soon, you begin to realize that buying at or near retail isn't too bad, because you get warranty and you get to break in the nib yourself.

You'll certainly need a safe place to store these jewels, right? After all, you only ever carry one, and you need to protect your investment. You find yourself in the store, and the 20 pen case is only 15% more $ than the 10 pen case. Plus it has ebony inlay.

At home, a nagging problem presents itself. You have empty spaces in your pen case.

Thus begins not an addiction, but an affliction.  :D
