Dumb Question

As most of you know, I bought the Survivorman DVDs, due to the fact Les carries an LM Wave and Swisstool.

WHile I was in the hospital, 2 of the episodes of Mythbusters showed a couple LMs (1 definate Wave, 1 possible Skeletool)

Would it be worth it to but the DVDs?

Mythbusters is quality tv, so I'd say go for it mate

Just download them like everyone else until they stop ripping people off with the insane prices they charge for dvds.

There have also been some SOG sightings on Mythbusters, so don't get too Leatherman crazy!

I don't think there are any seasons that are any more rich with tool porn than any other- they never concentrate on them, but they do show up fairly often, and usually when something goes wrong and they need a quick fix. Firearms myths also often have tool porn in them as they use the blades for cutting into the ballistics jelly and the pliers for pulling out spent rounds.

I say go for it. Mythbusters is a good show and intones the importance of firsthand experimentation.

There's also been Gerber sightings as well as Fenix flashlights.

DVDs are such a rip-off, especially tv series, 10-12 episodes for crazy prices and they still force you to watch commercials you cant skip even though you just paid a fortune for it (including the insane practice of forcing you to watch ads telling you not to pirate stuff

), its not like you're ever going to watch an episode more than once either after you find out whether or not the myth was busted. Just download it all, Ive been getting letters from my ISP telling me to stop abusing my connection or they're going to cut me off for the last 18 months now
