what kind of knife is this?

I found this knife in an antique shop some time ago. It has obviously been heavily used and resharpened many times.
what cought my eye was the strange bladeshape.
Does anyone know what kind of knife this is? :think:

Looks to me like an electricians knife. the bottom part is for stripping wire.
