I caught that scene the other night! I didn't know what show it was, just that David Caruso took out a Wave (or Surge, I wasn't sure) and pulled a slug from the door of a comrade's vehicle. It looked almost like a Leatherman ad! On a prurient note on forensics, I never understood why Agent Scully never carried a multitool on "The X-Files". With as many gruesome things as she withdrew on THAT show, you'd think she could have used one.
