Wave in CSI
on: April 20, 2008, 04:56:33 PM
Hey I just noticed this forum.  Cool idea.

Last week I happened to catch a few minutes of CSI Miami and one of the actors had a Leatherman Wave and used it pull a bullet or something out of a car door at a crime scene.

Well it figures that they would have to use a Wave.If they had used a SwissTool or Spirit they would have solved the crime 15 minutes earlier LOL :D

But it's a 1 hour show

Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:
And some condemned for a fault alone." -William Shakespeare, King Lear (1608), Act IV, scene 6, line 169

I caught that scene the other night! I didn't know what show it was, just that David Caruso took out a Wave (or Surge, I wasn't sure) and pulled a slug from the door of a comrade's vehicle. It looked almost like a Leatherman ad! :D

On a prurient note on forensics, I never understood why Agent Scully never carried a multitool on "The X-Files". With as many gruesome things as she withdrew on THAT show, you'd think she could have used one.

I didn't mean to hijack this thread, guys. OOOHHH, Great pic, though. I still can't believe she let her hairdresser talk her into going blond to escape Scully. :twak:

On the subject of the original post, Leatherman ought to give their tools out to all these forensics and medical shows. Just imagine a doctor using the saw to amputate, the pliers to pull out a bullet, and the screwdriver for billing...

It was my fault, I had to bring up "X-Files" era GA. ::)

Uh, what WERE we discussing? Oh, I know-forensic redheads-you know, I believe David Caruso on "CSI" is a redhead...
