The only thing I have found that helps is to try to remember the good times you had with your beloved pet, rather than the sad circumstances at the end.
Ah... the humans are definitely feeling it today.Favourite Meat Bullet story:We live near an amazing place known as Moseley Bog, which is sadly where Mabel met her end last night. It gets muddy down there, clue in the name I guess!We were all out together with three dogs and Hedgekid was in front of me on a platform they have build down there to get around on easily. Mabel pulled off her signature move of running in to the back of someone's legs at high speed. Hedgekid fell in slow motion off the platform, and landed in the mud on her back. Karen and I were trying to help and not to laugh without much success Next thing, 3 dogs are all over Hedgekids face, try to kiss her better... she's winded, we're crying with laughter and it took a while to bat the mutts off and get her out of the mud. Mabel was quite brilliant at sweeping peoples feet out from under them, as well as stealing hearts
