A fortnight is a pretty quick turn around

I think so, especially as the shipping both ways would have been nearing 2 weeks.

Maybe there used to problems with them and have them boxed, labled and ready to go at a moments notice

It wouldn't surprise me. 

The tools are surprisingly easy to open on this one.  I wonder why my Clutch is so difficult to open.

Variable build quality probably, trouble is you've been spoiled by your swiss stuff

Good to hear it got replaced efficiently Ben, the only trouble with Gerber is that you have to ship it off to the States. Wouldn't that have cost quite a bit on postage? Or is their a UK representive for Gerber here?

You do have to send it to the US, but it was only about £2 in total so it was certainly worth doing.

Can't complain at around the £2 mark, was expecting it to be quite a bit more, but yeah definitely worth doing
