Hi Styx and welcome  :waving:

The bad news about Wenger is well known here, there's some very interesting threads on the subject in the Swiss Forum area.

The good news is your still in time to take part in what will soon be know as The Mad Wenger Buying Spree of 2013
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

Thanks for the welcome. Just wanted to share the news.
I hope I'll get a chance to snag some Wengers in time

Yes, regretfully we already know about it. As Kirky said there were a couple of threads on the subject when it was first publicized.

This is one of the first threads and has the most info.

Vic and Wenger are still in the process of reorganization and didn't know themselves which models or tool lines they'll keep. :(

I'm hoping they keep the 130mm Ranger line and at least integrate some of the tools from the 85mm Wengers into the 84mm smaller Vicrorinox frame. There are so many unique tools in Wenger 85mm line that I'd hate to see go away.

I dobrodošao

Ne brini, zalihe su velike, neće još tako skoro nestati sa polica. :D

Damn I missed that thread.

It would be a real shame to lose some of the tools. The ranger line should just get new Vic cross on them and that's it. At least if you ask me.

Hvala. Nije problem u zalihama nego u financijama

Damn I missed that thread.

No problem, it's hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for. :D Members here have a tendency to sometimes use cryptic thread titles. Makes you open them just to find out what it's about instead of just dismissing it if the topic is of no interest to you. Very sneaky of them but it works. >:D

I agree with you there about the button lock and Rangers.  As for the finances, in a little over a month it will be a lot cheaper (40% cheaper) to buy tools from the EU. And German eBay has lots of cool Wengers. :mail:

I am real impressed with my first Wenger, the Ranger 78.
I look forward to fire sales.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to go straight to the source
