as far as Norfolk is concerned there are plenty of campsites round here, most of them suffer from only being officially 5 berth Caravan Club ones. I do know someone who has a much bigger site and whilst that's only officially 5 CC members he does do non CC things too. It's a nice area and whilst it's close to Wells next the Sea it's pretty secluded. I'm sure he'd be amenable to having a load of MTo-ers round if I asked. The only problem is access - being North Norfolk it's going to be a lot of effort for everyone bar me to get to.
my Dad lives near Downham Market, tis only a 2 hour trip from north Kent and it's an easy drive. worth looking into Cupboard old chap  :tu:
I can't see Essex on the list? Basildon would be nice in the summer, we could sit round a burning car all evening singing.

Joking  apart, unlikely to make a meet due to family and work. But will keep an eye on this thread just in case I can make it.
Id feel at home with that too  some of the estates near my place are a little 'lively' on a saturday night  ::)

Hey TD, are you still volunteering to transport Kirky Boy? Wherever we end up, it's looking like being a bloody long way to go on a space hopper.  :ahhh

Well it's good to see the voting cleared things up.

As Flash said earlier, he and the Shropshire site are available on any weekend of September, so that's a bonus.

Flash, IIRC we used a raised fire pit thingy before, would that still be an option?  Also, any chance we'd be able to shoot some air rifles? (again I recall doing this before but don't want to presume that all's going to be the same).

if there's an amenable site in Shropshire then I'd say go for it. It's a 4 hour drive for me but that's not too bad really!

I'll have a chat with the guy I know this weekend when I see him.

Are there dates you cannot do, or is it just that you need to book early?
