Annoying thing on Ipad

When I'm reading MT.O on my Ipad, I get this annoying thing:


I click on the 'new' button at posts I haven't read yet, and when I read the post, I scroll up to go to the index page. When I start scrolling up (or down, for that matter) it automatically jumps back to the 'unread' post.
I use just the normal preinstalled webbrowser on the ipad.


Is this normal, anything that can be done about it?

I have no idea what the issue is, but I'll try to recreate the issue on my wife's Mini.

I'd think getting Tapatalk would solve that issue.  That might be my best suggestion, but then I don't know much about iPads, so maybe someone with more time on one would have a better idea.

Not that I know of, but it's not my own ipad.

I have the same problem sometimes. I solve it by tapping on my Ipad really hard like a freaking mad mad until it decides to advance down the page or my wife comments on my sanity and my ability to maintain my role as head of he household.
