I'm actually trying out a new program called Seesmic which is supposed to update both Facebook and Twitter at the same time.  It seems unnecessarily complex.  I used to use a program called Social Blast that did a much better job.  I don't think it's available in the market though and I'm always paranoid about downloading stuff from third-party sites.
