I picked up the same drill last summer zoidberg as my old drill got water damaged ,I'm very happy with the b&d and geat value for money
zoidberg: if you're using a drill to drive nuts, when it dies an impact driver might be worth a look. Faster until the nut is nearly home, then vast amounts of torque. When driving screws, you can drive a screw right in to a large lump of wood and right back out the other side if you so wish, all whist not ripping your wrist off
My old kleins were getting a bit dull so trip to lowes today new 10 inch knipex and my stanley odds and ends tote.think im going to slowly replace my klein stuff with knipex. stuff seems extremely well made.
I've used the 10.8V Makita and own some of the 10.8V Bosch kit, and whilst they're both good I'd buy the Bosch every time for myself. In total I've got a 10.8V screwdriver, 10.8V impact driver, 18V combi and 18V impact driver, all Bosch Blue Li-ions.At work we have Ryobis, and the batteries just die so quickly - I've had my Bosch batteries far longer than some of the Ryobi batteries, the Bosch ones still work well and the Ryobis don't at all.For work's cordless angle grinder I've rigged up a doohickey so you can run it off a tractor battery - not had to use it myself but by all accounts from the people that do it's pretty good. For my own EDC it tends to just be a multitool because my job is so varied. If I'm programming at my desk I just need something to open packages with, if I'm building electrical things I tend to be at a desk where I have lots of tools, if I'm out with a tractor then they usually have tools with them and the other guys who do that sort of thing more than me have EDC toolboxes that mount in various places round the tractors. I do have one little pouch for when I'm out and about with a 6" adjustable, multimeter, 1/4" sockets and this thing (which is fantastic):(Image removed from quote.)
