If I remember right, it was a Chinese Swisschamp with a Vic shield.

This one looks fake in the fourth picture but it is definitely being passed off as a Victorinox:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Victorinox-Swiss-Army-Knife-Free-postage-within-Australia-/271333240346?pt=AU_Sport_Camping_Hiking_Tools&hash=item3f2cb8ae1a

They even have a negative feedback about selling a fake knife. I reported it to eBay on Friday but it is still there.  Does Victorinox have a site we can report them to for them to follow up?

Wow, that one's pretty cool.   ;)  Didn't know Victorinox made a knife with back side Phillips and a corkscrew!...

:ahhh   :ahhh   :ahhh

No real problem with this last one -- doesn't claim to be Victorinox or Wenger.
Not many are aware that the Swiss companies have a copyright on the phrase Swiss Army Knife when used for a red-handled multi-tooled pocketknife.  Your average seller of a used red folder is probably not trying to deceive a buyer...

Don't believe that one counts. :-\ It should have a Victorinox or Wenger written on the tool, box or description to be considered a copyright or trademark infringement.

EDIT: JMJ beat me to it.

Nice to see you around.

How long does it take for them to take the auction down?

I reported the same auction to ebay yesterday but I see it is still up and listed as Victorinox.

It sometimes takes them a while.

He posted "Nock Off" in the title. and Knock of in the description + this => "I was told this wasn't a legit one but acts and looks exactly the same. " I kind of doubt that. :P

I have not reported this.

What a liar - Does he think we are stupid?
Also not only has he put Victorinox + Huntsman in the title - But also the genuine model number.
That is blatant deception. It cannot be an ignorant error :twak:

This made me laugh/cry/be disgusted in the description...  >:(
"I BELIEVE THIS IS A RARE VINTAGE SWISS ARMY KNIFE AS I HAVE HAD IT PUT AWAY SINCE 1994. MAY BE ABIT DIRTY FROM BEING STORED AWAY IN MY DRAWER FOR 20 YEARS. THE OUTSIDE OF THE KNIFE USED TO HAVE A SWISS ARMY KNIFE EMBLEM DECAL AND IT HAS BEEN WORN OFF.

Strange how the emblem wore off when it was safely cocooned in a drawer for 20 years..
And as if the Viccy crosses ever wear off - Maybe the Elinox ones get a bit faded - But really???

And 100 pos feedback for this seller - It's gotta be stopped.

What about this:  http://www.tsourosmarine.gr/products_gr.asp?prodid=851

Beware! It doesn't say it's Swiss? It says Greek! But it has many Victorinox features.
I consider buying it to see what it is.
