Long time lurker that finally registered for an account....

I have been using an original Super Tool for I don't know how many years. It's due for a replacement and I started reading this forum when looking for reviews of the various Charges, Wave, Surge, ST300, as well as other manufacturers multitools. I have a SOG PowerLock that I use pretty rarely. I have played with most of the MTs that are out there over the years just because I think they are all pretty cool in their own way.

I am not going to get another SuperTool because I want the easy access this time. I may get a Surge for the heavy work and a Wave/Charge for EDC....

Anyway, thanks for all of the great reviews and comments on this site.

How do you buy one of the multitool.org wheel-type bit drivers? I'd like to get a couple.

 Hi and welcome!

The MTo Challenge Coins should still be available thru EDCSorce(follow the link above)

If OHO blades arn't a deal breaker, have a look at a SwissTool to a Spirit. They reach a standard LM can only dream of  :dd:

Welcome to the forum.

I second the suggestion of trying out a Victorinox Swisstool or Spirit before you decide on your next purchase. Also the Surge is going to get updated this year with replacable wire cutters like the ST300 has so if that's something you'd like, you might want to wait a month or two for it.

The coib drivers should be available soon from EDCsource.com. The current run is being shipped to the members and once the ones already paid for are shipped the remaining will be listed and there will be a thread on the forum notifying about their availability. :salute:

Glad to have you with us. :tu:

Welcome mate  i use a surge for my maintenance job and with its bit adapter and blade exchanger it works a treat plus easy access to the blade etc,the wave and charge are also very nice mt's, i had a swisstool and it was a bit too shinny for me  :D Nice tool though  :salute:

+1

The SwissTool is a really nice HD MT.  I have one, and a Charge TTi, and the quality of the TTi is far from that of the SwissTool.  Saying that though, I usually EDC the Charge as I love having the pocket clip.

Aloha and welcome,
i like the surge too and agree with waiting for the new one as your HD MT, i got the wave shortly after joining and loved it as my go to MT.  I did recently get a Charge TTi and while its nearly the same MT as the wave the feel is much better IMO and the wave is now taking a break.  I really like having OHO tools on both the wave and charge as i was coming from a wingman/sidekick. the Swiss tool X or the Sprit RT are next in line for me but mine are daily users and the shine throws me off a bit though from what has been said about these either would make a wonderful addition.
