Leatherman Tool Group to drop its name ?

Is it ??   

A week ago, on Friday, June 21, 2013, the U.S. federal trademark for having the name "Leatherman Tool Group, Inc". registration number 78426629 was abandoned.

The Reason provided ? A mysterious  "CANCELLED - SECTION 8" message   :think:

Interesting to mention that their Website still displays its copyright notice as "© Copyright 2013 Leatherman Tool Group, Inc"

May be they are starting to have an identity crisis after making sliding pliers...   :oops:
