Xti and ti warranty

Ihave an xti and ti that needs some warranty work. I love the style way more than the new al and alx. Anyone send these in for repair and got them back as opposed to leatherman just doing and exchange?

I haven't actually sent my Ti or XTi in for warranty work, but I'm guessing if you mark them as "sentimental" on the warranty form, you'll be fine. All the tools are the same as far as I know, so they should be able to repair or replace individual parts as needed.
