I'm sorry, it's not in thesame class as a classic. No tweezers, no SAD tip on the nail file. That SD tip on the classic fits most of the small phillip sscrews that hold everything together these days. And heavy and square is not near as pocketable as the smooth outline of the classic. The classic is still the classic.

Plenty of Vic classics aren't in the same class as the Classic. Like the Diplomat, the Broker, the Stainless Steel Classic, the Companion. Even the Classic isn't the same as the Classic SD. Some of those older Japanese Kershaws are indeed flawless. And I wish Vic would do a real double cut file fully edge to edge as opposed to the textured file.
