Sorry,need a brief rant

One thing I try to make sure of,is that I don't bring the toxic stuff here to MTo,but I do need a rant,and it is MT related :rant:

I finally found a BO Paratool at the right price on Amazon.I ordered it at the end of June,with an expected delivery date Saturday past...so 25odd days is a long time for UK delivery,but for £54 all in,fair enough :shrug:

But damn it,its now 5 days over due. :rant: :rant: :rant:

I've contacted the seller via Amazon,but  :rant: :rant: :rant:

whoa...that's a long time. but i commiserate with you as this is the norm for me and the uncertainty, anticipation and level of worry, not to mention the amount of lost sleep has driven me to chainsmoking and alcohol dependency, yet the tools arrive so I smoke more and drink more to celebrate the welcoming of my new friends.

Pray to the ToolGods, they will listen....not too sure if they will reply, tho

I think something's different at Amazon these days. I recently bought 2 things totaling $150 (not MT's) with free ship, which I knew would take a while, but was nearly a month! It was the longest in-stock free ship I've ever had. So I guess of you want to a save a couple bucks, order early.

Maybe they are delaying shipping intentionally to make people buy the prime membership.  :pok:

I'm an old fashioned chap, and would much prefer buying stuff from a 'SHOP' (anyone remember those?) deal with a pretty young shop assistant and compare more than one product 'in my hand' having a good fondle if possible  :whistle:
I don't mind paying a little more for the experience, but the sad fact of life today is on-line shopping is more and more common, even doing the weekly food shop ! As far as buying 'multis' far to many shops can compete for price (I don't think they even bother !) not that many even bother to stock much  :facepalm:
I've successfully purchased many things from 'the web', Amazon, ebay, MTO all the usual places and a few besides, but I loath the wait for delivery  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh
I have even put off buying stuff just because I can't stand the wait ! yes, yes,  I hear you shout "the sooner you order the quicker it arrives !" but it ruins a lot of the joy for me. the wife says it's I have no patience (true) but I get really irritated when I wait for a parcel that doesn't appear when I expect it, or worse it shows up in the 5 seconds I happen to be in the loo, or otherwise engaged, and all I get is a piece of card telling me to collect me goodies from the post office "TOMORROW" !!!!

now look what you've done John my blood pressure is through the roof and I'm 'ranting' too  :rant:

was it from Amazon themselves, or a third party selling through their 'marketplace'?   Either way it's rubbish service. ::)
